Over the past few weeks or so, I've really gotten into photography. It seems that now, everywhere I go, a perfect picture presents itself. I'm really beginning to see and appreciate the beauty that is all around me. God's creation is amazing and I love to capture it in pictures so that everyone can see its beauty. These pictures were taken today. It was a beautiful spring day; the only problem: it's the middle of winter! Haha :) Either way, God made this day perfectly.

Does History Really Repeat Itself?

People always say, "History repeats itself." This isn't necessarily true though. I think that history repeats itself only when the people involved are ignorant of that particular history or when they don't prepare for prevention of the same thing from happening. People are very aware of what was involved in WWII, so, it is unlikely that it will happen like that again. Most everyone agrees that what Hitler did was evil and, hopefully, people will take that example of the defeat of evil and not attempt it again. By teaching people about the bad events in history they will be able to recognize what parts of those events are occuring in modern life and, if needed, prevent them. Take this recession for example. The people in charge remembered the circumstances leading up to the Great Depression and were prepared to prevent it from reoccuring. After 9/11, airport security increased dramatically. Because of these prevention measures hijacking has become very difficult in America. So, history is repeated only when it is unrecognized or unhindered by preventions. That's what I think anyway.Ttyl and something about an alligator :)

Hey guys! It's me again! I've been thinking about a poem for Valentine's Day for the majority of the day, so, I decided to post it here.

Whenever I talk to you
My eyes start shining.
Whenever I'm not with you
My heart keeps pining.
My love for you,
I am finding,
Is honest and true
And is worth prizing.

Happy Valentine's Day! <3 True Love <3

Hey! Today is Valentine's Day so I wanted to talk about love. In the Bible there is a book called 1 Corinthians, and in that book is a chapter numbered 13, which deals with love. It talks about what love is, what it does, and what an excellent gift it is. It says that without love, every good thing we do means nothing in the end. Real love comes from God and without Him it would be hard to truly love at all. Our God-given gifts are worth nothing without God's love. Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy. It does not boast. It isn't proud. Love is not rude, or selfish, or easily angered. Love does not keep score. Love does not like evil but rejoices in truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. While other gifts may pass away, love never fails. Out of faith, hope, and love, the greatest of these is love. These are truths straight out of the Bible and if you believe, there is no debating this definition of love. On a holiday focused around human, sinful "love"- what is commercially promoted is lust- please keep this Godly love in mind, and let Jesus be your valentine.
