The cat sensed Eden's apprehension and turned towards him. Eden stood paralyzed as the cat approached. When the cat was directly in front of him it sat, and looked up expectantly. Eden sat down to get a better look at the unusual feline. As soon as Eden had sat down the cat stood on its hind legs and put its front paws on his shoulders. It gazed into his eyes and Eden understood that it was not chance that had brought them together. He saw memories that were not his own, and witnessed, through the eyes of the cat, things that only seemingly innocent and unintelligent souls could witness. All these memories flashed through his mind faster than the strongest wind. He regained his voluntary thought when the cat sat back down. He felt dazed. Innumerable memories had been transferred to him in a moment's time. One memory in particular, though, stood out against all the others. It concerned the cat, and betrayed its true identity.

Part Three
He hadn't taken more than three steps before he felt something brush against his leg. He looked down and saw that it was the mysterious white cat from earlier. Eden reached down to pet it but it dashed off in the direction of a large clearing. Again he followed the cat. As he approached, it became clear that the meadow was a type of crossroads, as there were paths branching off in all directions. The cat waited until Eden had caught up before starting down one of the trails, looking back every so often to make sure he was following. Eden understood that the cat was trying to lead him somewhere and was willing to follow, at least until he noticed that the scenery was changing. Instead of the lush trees and beautiful groundcover, the trees looked gnarled and sinister, and the underbrush was thorny and twisted. Eden's heart was seized by an urgent terror and he looked behind him for a way to get back to the cheerful meadow. To his astonishment and fear, he found that the path behind him had disappeared and was replaced by an impenetrable wall of thorns and branches.

Part Two
Eden was terrified. What could have grabbed him? He felt around but there was nothing near him. After his eyes had ajusted to the bright light, the first thing he noticed was the landscape. Leaves were abundant and vines were climbing the trunk of every tree. He had heard of places like this but had believed them to be the fantastical imaginings of the bards. Eden started to wander, determined to find out more about this place. Why was it linked to his village, where was the cat who led him to discover this mysterious forest, and who, or what, had pulled him through to this strange new world.

Part One
Eden looked up. He had never seen a cat like that before. Usually the cats in his village were green eyed and either black, striped, or calico. This one had icey, sapphire eyes and its coat was a shimmery white. He followed it through the streets to a dead end but when he got there it had vanished. Eden wondered how it had disapeared because there were walls on every side and the only way out was to go back the way you came. Puzzled, he started feeling along the walls. When he had almost reached the end of the first wall something gave way. He looked closer and saw that one brick was not as it seemed. Although it looked solid it was invisible to the touch. He reached through the brick and felt around, looking for some way to get to the other side. Suddenly something grabbed his arm and, before he could resist, pulled him through the wall.

Hello again! I was just thinking about a book one of my friends wrote and I said to myself "why don't I write a story too?" I used to love making up stories and writting them down, but lately I haven't gotten around to it. Too busy I guess. Anyway, now is as good a time as any, so my next post will be the start of my story! I hope it turns out to be intriguing, suspenseful, and well written!

Brokeness
Hello everyone! Welcome back! I have some bad news to share, my brother broke his arm! It isn't an awful break, only a small buckle fracture (torus fracture). It's the second time in about half a year! I feel bad for him because hockey starts next week and he was so looking forward to it. :(

My First Post!
Hello! My point in creating this blog is to share my creativity with people who care (eg. my friends). I want them to see a part of me that they wouldn't otherwise be able to see. I hope this blog will be a place where I can express myself and share things that will show who I am and what I think of the world God gave us. This "blog of happenings" will contain my thoughts, writings, and drawings. I hope you like it. :)
